You Deserve Wealth

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

Single Mom or Superwoman?

This morning I did my usual web surfing and came across this article by Shamelessly Red over at Momaroo. It is basically a manifesto for single moms who sick and tired of being sick and tired.

With all the hats we have to wear it's a wonder that we don't fall to pieces. Instead we become more resilient and unmoveable in our quest to raise healthy children and keep our sanity at the same time.

So would you define yourself as a Superwoman? Why? How do you keep it together? Do share!

Hum... good question. To be or not to be a Superwoman. I sometimes like to wear this title, but for me, that S on my chest isn't permanently stitched there. Its more like, held in place with velcro. Under that S are also other letters that mean other things because I am not always "resilient and unmoveable", but always human and I have my many moments of weakness.

I am able to hold things together by remembering the task at hand. Remembering that there is someone who is counting on me to be here for her and to care for her, and remembering that I have to because I'm all that she has.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this topic. It is so important to define yourself accurately. Only you can know your limitations, that way no one else can impose theirs on to you.
