You Deserve Wealth

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

How I made $115 for 1½ Hours of “Work”

Just want to update you on my latest money making venture—Focus Groups. Earlier this week I told you that I had two appointments to give my opinion. One was a focus group to discuss the local newspaper. The other was a taste test for a new gum product (I am not at liberty to tell you the details as I signed a non-disclosure agreement).

The appointments were in the evening after work. That was perfect so I could pick up my son; drop him off at home with my daughter, and then go on to the company conducting the focus group and taste test. I printed out the instructions and directions at work so I was all set. The only glitch was that the directions weren’t exactly accurate. I think both directions were based on Mapquest (which I have no confidence in anymore, I prefer Google Maps).

Instead of the street being at the fourth traffic light it was at the fifth traffic light. And darn it all, but I didn’t miss the lottery for the extra $25; more on that later.

Weird and Proven Ways to Make Extra Money

A few months ago I talked about way to make money if you are broke. One of the things I mentioned was participating in focus groups and surveys. I have been participating in both side gigs since September and to date I’ve earned over $300 in cash and gift cards. This week I have two focus groups that I am participating in. One is a taste test and the other is a focus group on local media. The payout is $75 and $40 for just a few minutes of my time. This will bring my earnings up to over $400.

I probably could have made more had I been persistent but life happens and I don’t follow through sometimes. To find focus groups in your
